Welcome to Red Top Mower

Welcome to Red Top Mower's official blog. Here at Red Top Mower, our customers are our number one priority. One of the most important things we strive for is for our customers to be happy with our service; we do that by easing any concerns you, the customer, may have. It's always good to know that you're dealing with a qualified, experience professional.

To fully understand all of our qualifications, we have to take a quick trip down memory lane. Circa 1965, a guy started tinkering on things in his garage. He would fix anything from a washing machine to lawn mower and build anything he could imagine. Fast forward a few years to 1970 and he was working out of a shop called Fun Wheels-- selling and repairing all things small engine related. Over the years, he had a few kids, the business grew, he started selling go karts and Fun Wheels was a common name. In 1995, his son Ron stepped up. Ron and his wife purchased Fun Wheels and eventually moved into a new, much larger building.
Ron and Patti owned Fun Wheels from 1995 through 2010. Wes was their General Manager.
With Ron and Patti in charge of things, Fun Wheels began to evolve into a modern thriving small business. In 1999, Wes joined the team doing assembly and shop cleanup. With his degree in Finance, Wes quickly advanced to the position of General Manager. With Wes' help, Fun Wheels grew to be a successful venture for everyone involved. Ron and Patti took on some of the top major brands including Snapper, Stihl, Scag, Hustler, Wright, and more! Over the years, they acquired new skills and developed a working knowledge of almost anything with a small engine from parts and warranties to sales and service, common user mistakes and the best applications for each and every model on their showroom. Fun Wheels continued to carry off road vehicles throughout the years, alternating between dirt bikes, go karts, four wheels and utility vehicles. But all good things come to an end. By the end of 2010, the lagging economy and poor location of the business caused Fun Wheels to shut the doors forever...

Don't worry, it's not the end of the story yet! Stay tuned for the rest of the story...
